Margaret plays bass for the Jazz Kitchen and Andrew is on Trombone for the Jazz Ensemble. Andrew is on the very end wearing moose slippers. Yes, the kids seemed to really get into the spirit.

It is an excellent program in teaching kids improvisational jazz. Matt Pivec is the Professor of Jazz Studies at Butler. I tip my hat off to him and the work he is doing.

Music is a great outlet for kids and jazz is a great genre for them to learn. Here are a couple of videos of the kids performance from this weekend.
